Presents. I love presents. Except when it’s a horrible, no good, awful gift. The awkwardness of pretending to love the gift but knowing it will never, ever be used. Have you ever had that happen? Your mind wanders: How much did they spend? How long you will have to store it? Or worse will you have to use it just so they notice? Let’s avoid the problem this holiday by giving our significant other a list of exactly what we want!
Not to say that we’re not still super thankful regardless of the gift, it is the thought that counts after all! But more often than not our well-meaning men have a hard time figuring out the perfect gift for us and it can really stress them out. Which is a total bummer because the holidays aren’t for stressing. This year, let’s give them a break and give them a list. Use the list below as a bouncing off point, circle your favorites, add a few favorites and then number them to let him know which ones you’d love most.
Mom’s Wish List: 8 awesome gifts your man can give you!
{This post may contain affiliate links for your convenience.}
1. Stitch Fix — this has to be one of the coolest things ever! You setup your dream wardrobe profile and then each shipment they pick out a few clothing items you’re sure to love (and you send back anything you don’t absolutely love).
Even if you know this is what your husband is getting you, it’s still a surprise what you’ll get!
If you’re new to Stitch Fix, you can read more about it HERE — the article is full of great advice and tips for newbies.
2. Essential Oils — Essential Oils are all the RAVE and for good reason, they really work and are totally awesome. But sometimes it’s hard to swallow the cost of the starter kits, even though they are totally worth it. Why not have your hubby get you this instead of spending the money on a random gift you will never use.
He (or you) can email me and I’ll gladly help get the kit ordered in time for the holidays!
3. New Stainless Steel Pans — Swoon! Can you imagine having this set in your kitchen?
4. 5. & 6. A Knife Set or a Kitchen Aid, I can’t decide which is better? I also really want a Nutri Ninja! It’s too hard to decide which one I should circle and hint to hubby about!
7. Amazon Prime — what mom wouldn’t use free 2 day shipping from a site that has basically everything!
8. Netflix — we already have this one but if we didn’t I would love it as a gift!
What else would you add? Leave it in the comments! I may just update my wish list!

I didn’t know Fruit Ninja was a thing! I thought it was just the game I like to waste time playing, lol!
Oh goodness! It’s actually called a Nutri Ninja, I must have just been really excited when I typed up this post! I just updated it, thanks for catching that! I haven’t even played Fruit Ninja is FOREVER so I have no idea why it was on my mind! lol
Yes to all of these. I would add a massage gift card, or better yet a whole spa day.
Becca! That sounds absolutely wonderful! Great addition to the list!
I love this list – but I would also like a day off!
I could go to the library, art gallery or wherever – have a nice lunch and come home when I wanted to find that all the chores have been done etc!! Not have to worry about school run, clothes washing or making a meal and just ahhhhhh relax!!
A day off sounds wonderful! I can barely even remember what that would feel like!
