Ever wondered about Essential Oils? What makes them special (besides the fact that they smell AHmazing!)?
Want to start but not sure how?
Two years ago I barely knew what Essential Oils where, I thought they could be used for two or three things and that was about it. Little did I know what I was missing! I had no idea all the benefits the little bottles had!
I was incredibly *lucky* (actually, more like blessed) when I got connected with an amazing team that held my hand and walked me through everything step-by-step. When it comes to oils:
Team matters and education is crucial.
What are Essential Oils?
Essential oils are natural aromatic compounds found in the seeds, flowers, bark, rind, and leaves of plants, extracted and distilled for health benefits. They work rapidly and are incredibly effective. They work with the body to address issues and root causes on a cellular level.
Hundreds of different compounds provide complex & versatile ability to combat threats without building up resistance. The more I research the more surprised I am at how simple yet powerful they are.
Essential oils are simple to use and have been used for thousands of years.
What can Essential Oils be used for?
Oh goodness! SO many things! For starters here’s a peek at just one piece of the pie, oils that help with emotional support.
Everything listed on the image is just the beginning, Essential Oils are incredible versatile and can be used for so many things! Do you have specific question on what else they can be used for? I have an entire email course that walks you through what oils to use for what, which oils are best in the beginning, etc. If that sounds interesting to you, fill out the form below, it’s 100% free and super educational. It will help you get started in the right direction.
What brand of oil should I use?
There are several grades of essential oils, and keep in mind that none of these are regulated, not even “therapeutic grade”, because of this lack of regulation it’s very important to find a trusted brand!
If you stopped by our blog before, you probably know what brand we love. We used to share it in big letters on our blog so you could benefit from knowing but now because of FDA-regualations, I can no longer share it here. Huge bummer, I know. Thankfully, there is still a way! If you request to join our Essential Oil Education Newsletter and I can send you an email with all the information!

My life has been changed in awesome ways because of oils and because of this I want to help answer questions and help you in any way that I can.
How will I learn to use my oils?
Remember how I said earlier, team matters and support is crucial. Today’s your chance to benefit from both just like I did.
I want to pay-it-forward and have set up a team who will help you just like I was helped. Our team is like a second family — a support system, a group to learn with and be there as you’re learning.
To help you avoid getting overwhelmed we encourage you to incorporate just one small change at a time, which we’ll walk you though in our newsletter.

Absolutely true! After 10 years working in Pharmacy I have embarked on a new journey to explore natural medicine. The proof is on the results.
A lifetime struggle with headaches lead me to expensive prescription medications, with horrible after effects. Then I discovered peppermint oil. It eased my pain almost instantly and without side effects. It is inexpensive and has many uses around the house!
Alida TheRealisticMama says
So glad you found peppermint, I love it too! What do you find works best for you? Internally (like in beadlets, your drinks, etc) or topically on your neck, forehead and temples? I know it’s different for each person, so I’m curious!

I just started using essential oils last week. Currently all I have is Young Living Lavender and it has all but cured my life long insomnia. Not only that but I mixed it with Spectrum Organic unrefined Coconut oil and my more than 2 year old stretch marks are disappearing before my eyes

I need to buy my “physician’s kit.” Right now I have Breathe, Citrus Bliss, and OnGuard beadlettes. Just can’t afford to get everything I want! LOL I may have to just purchase one each pay period.
Alida says
That’s what I did when I first started too! Then I realized I loved them way to much to just buy one at a time, so I saved up and got the kit, which is an amazing savings! I’d love to help you either way, whatever works better for you at this time. 🙂
