4 DIY Pipe Cleaner Bracelets for Kids
1. Name Bracelet
Its simply that, the kids find the letters to their name and put them in sequential order onto the bracelet along with other beads of the their choice!
2. Phone Number Bracelet
This one is best done with straws as you can write the numbers on the straw with a Sharpie and cut the straw in between the numbers. I like to let my older kids help the younger kids with one.
Bonus: I like to take this bracelet with us on outings if for some chance a child were to ever get separated they have a phone number to me on their wrist. This is great for amusement parks, etc! Â
3. Pattern Bracelet
To help teach children about patterns, I will lay out a series of 3-4 beads and challenge the child to keep the pattern going until the bracelet is finished. For younger kids I usually do alternating colors, for older kids I mix in different shapes and sometimes 3-4 colors.
4. Friendship Bracelets
This one is particularly fun for older kids. They can write a message, an inside joke, or a secret on the straw , then cut between the words and make a bracelet for a friend or sibling that has significant or special meaning to just them.
