Here’s how I made $15,024 working part-time last month…

A few years ago, I started publishing income reports so that others could see that blogging is a great way to make extra income. 

I started a blog to test if a stay-at-home mom could make money online “blogging.” I put blogging in quotes because blogging is totally different than what I used to think of it.

The awesome part about this particular side business (besides the fact it makes over full-time income with part-time hours) is that you’re creating PASSIVE income and can be done from ANYWHERE.

Last month, I made over $15,024 blogging part-time.

MARCH INCOME REPORT:

In March, I made $15,024 blogging PART-TIME. Here’s the breakdown…

Advertisement Income: $1430

Affiliate Income: $9882

My Book—175 Best Date Ideas: $214

Our Course: $3469

Misc. Income—$28

There are multiple ways bloggers make money blogging—ads, affiliate income, sponsored posts, virtual assistant work, freelance writing, products, courses—just to name a few. I used to do a lot of sponsored work until I published my own book and courses.

TOTAL: $15,024

Not to mention, I only work PART-TIME on the blog. 

Note: I do set aside a percentage of all my income to pay taxes, blog expenses and Facebook ads.

Started a Blog…

I started The Realistic Mama blog in February of 2014. 

In 2014, I made $10,072 blogging part-time.

Year 2…

2015 Total Income: $79,511 blogging part-time.

Year 3…

2016 Total Income: $84,785 blogging part-time.

Not to mention, I took 3 months of “maternity leave” at the beginning of the year and we traveled a large portion of the year.

Year 4…

2017 Total Income: $83,158 blogging part-time

After traveling and living in an RV for 8 months, we finally settled back down in coastal North Carolina. Living near the beach had always been a dream of ours and blogging allows us to work from anywhere.

Year 5…

2018 Total Income: $367,388 blogging part-time

Year 6…

This Year So Far (January – March Income): $54,643
