Emotional Intelligence, is it a real thing?
We’ve all heard about academic intelligence {IQ}, but emotional intelligence for some reason is not often talked about, but it’s a real thing and it’s actually really important in forming our lives and who we become.
What is emotional intelligence?
Emotional intelligence is basically everything outside of your academic education so think creative thinking, self-control, motivation, confidence, social skills and more. All these “extra” things aren’t always covered in a classroom but are, oh, so important to succeed in life.
Why is emotional intelligence important?
Strong emotional intelligence will help your kids in relationships, future careers and overall health and happiness. And also creating a positive view of oneself which in our current society is not easy thing to come by! Wouldn’t it be awesome to help out kids out in this way?
