Looking for extra income?
Here’s how I made over $46,000 blogging part-time last month…

4 years ago, I decided to start a blog/website to help other moms.
I figured I would try it and see what happened.
It now provides for our family—we’ve been able to travel, save for our first home, and spend more time as a family because of it.
The awesome part about this particular side business (besides the fact it makes over full-time income with part-time hours) is that you’re creating PASSIVE income and can be done from ANYWHERE.
Each month, I like to share an income report with you to help show you how it’s done.
If you’re interested in starting a blog, I have a (free) step-by-step tutorial on how to start a blogging side business(no tech knowledge required)!
JULY INCOME REPORT BREAKDOWN:
There are tons of ways to make money blogging! The most common ways are ads (Google Ads are fairly simple to set up when you first start), affiliate income (amazon affiliates, affiliate others’ ebooks, etc.), sponsored posts, your own products, etc. I’ve made money through all these streams and at different times I focus my time differently on each category. I recommend trying them and seeing what works best for you.
Here’s how I made $46,428 in July blogging PART-TIME…
Advertisement Income: $1728 (I stared on Google Ads but once I hit 100,000 pageviews a month I switched over to AdThrive)
Affiliate Income: $37,073 (Affiliate income is when I recommend a product I love and when a reader makes a purchase I make a commission at no additional cost to them—it’s a win for everyone and fun)
Sponsored Posts and Sponsored Social Shares: $0 (When I first started blogging, I used to do more sponsored posts and make several thousand a month doing them but lately I’ve been focusing on my own products and affiliate income instead since both are more residual income streams.)
My Book—175 Best Date Ideas: $215 (Creating my first book wasn’t as hard as a I though. I took some of my blog content on the subject, added some more and then self-published my first book with the help of Amazon Createspace)
Our Course: $7412
TOTAL: $46,428
Not to mention, I only work part-time on the blog. I try to keep it under 20 hours a week.
Note: I do set aside a percentage of all my income to pay taxes and blog expenses.

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS MONTH:
We were able to work less in July and still make great income—that was largely due to a profitable Facebook ad we are running. Which has let us have great family time over the summer—which really is why I started this blog in the first place.
I’m continuing to learn that blogging really does have unlimited income potential.
I continue to be so thankful I took that step of faith 4 years ago and started a blog. You can start a blog today, using this free step-by-step tutorial (no tech knowledge required).U

Disclosure: We are an affiliate for Bluehost, which means we make a commission if you sign up—at no additional cost to you. I only recommend things that I have used and love. Bluehost is where we started our blog and where we recommend all our friends, family members and blog readers start. We’ve been able to negotiate a special discounted price for all our blog readers—you will get discounted pricing and a free domain through our link.
I recommend starting your blog on Bluehost because of their insanely low price, reliable service and exceptional customer service. Bluehost is where I started my blog, it’s also where I recommend all my friends, family and readers start. You’ll be renting a “plot” of internet land from them to start your blog on.
You can start a blog today for just a few bucks a month – I’ve negotiated a cheaper price with Bluehost for all our readers if you use our affiliate link below. You can start for as little as $2.95 a month and get a free domain ($15 value), that’s a special price only if you use my link. I’ll show you exactly what that means and how to do everything step-by-step below!
$3 a month is minuscule compared to how much you can make blogging. In fact, a year and a half after I started my blog, my blog was making enough my husband was able to quit his full time job! The blog is now our full-time income with part-time flexible hours. We’re also able to work from anywhere, we even took a 8 month RV adventure all over the United States and worked while we were on the road!
