Congrats! You’re expecting a sweet baby girl! And now you’re on the hunt for that perfect baby name.
We had another reader ask us for help thinking of baby names, her only request was that they start with the letter E. As we compiled the list I never before realized how many gorgeous “E” names there were out there. Check out these 37 letter “E” baby names and maybe, just maybe, your daughter’s soon-to-be name will be on the list!
Thanks Family Dollar for sponsoring this post.

Budget Friendly Diapers
Once you have your name picked out and grabbed some freebies, the next thing to look at is diapers… just like a name is used daily after the baby arrives, so are diapers! So, make sure you find a budget friendly brand that you can stock up on.
We recently tried Kidgets for the first time and I was really impressed. The diapers are known for their excellent leak protection, which I really appreciate because I don’t have time for extra, unneeded accidents. They also have a wide velcro closure which is a big bonus, so the diapers stay well secured until it’s time for a change, not before.
Stocking up is easy, swing by a Family Dollar, grab several packs of Kidgets and you’re done!

Great list! I did notice that Everly is listed twice… Our daughter’s name is Ellison, and we call her Ellie most of the time. When she is older, she can go by Elle if she wants a more grown-up sounding nickname. Ellison is a female variant of Elijah (in terms of meaning). I will definitely save this list in case we have another little girl!
Alida says
Thanks for catching that! We’ve updated the post replacing the duplicate Everly with your daughter’s name! Thanks for the perfect idea!
Erin says
Yay, my name made the list. I always hated it growing up, but I have learned to love it after years of hearing my husband say it. I knew our daughter’s name probably wouldn’t be on the list because we can rarely find it on any baby name website (which I am totally fine with). Her name is Ellorah (we were going to spell it with an A but my husband wanted to be able to call her Elle).
Alida says
Aw! I love your name and your daughters name! Thanks for sharing!!
Delicia says
Funny! My daughter’s name is Elora!
Sabrina says
My oldest daughter is number 8 on this list except we spelled it Elianna. I typically prefer the traditional spelling of names but it just looks incomplete with only one N in my opinion.
As soon as we saw it my husband and I knew it was perfect and I loved the meaning.
She goes by Elly most days but some days will only answer to Elianna and I am fine with both!!
Anne says
Great list! My daughter’s name is Emmeline. (Pronounced Emma-line) We love it and call her Emme for short.
Alida says
Ooooh! I love it!
Alida says
We just found a duplicate on the list, so we added Emmeline in place of one of them! <3 Thanks for being apart of this wonderful community!
Jodie says
We have an Emersyn. Call her Emme.

One of my daughters is named Emerson. Sometimes we shorten it to Em or Ems, and my dad wants to call her Emma, all of which we are cool with.
Alida says
Love when names have multiple nicknames!
Jamie says
Proud Mama to an Emily Hope! Which is also listed twice. #15 and #22. I’m not sure if that was already mentioned. But what a wonderful list though!
Alida says

My daughter’s name is Ezri. It’s a little different, but we love it. Suits her well.

I named my daughter Elexa. She doesn’t like the nickname Lexi, and usually introduces herself as E-lexa so people don’t think it’s Alexa. It’s different, but it suites her perfectly!
Alida says
Ooooh! I love it!
Danielle says
My Daughter’s name is EmilynnJoy.
Erica says
My daughter’s name is Emmeline. We used the traditional French spelling and use the French pronunciation “lean” as opposed to “line”. We call her Emmy for short.
