As moms we all need quick and easy fall backs to entertain kids while we cook dinner, write a bill and maybe {if we’re lucky} pee in peace. 2 Ingredient Cloud Dough is quick to pull together, easy to make, and super entertaining for the kids.
If you’ve never made cloud dough before it’s seriously heavenly. My first time making it I could have played with it longer than the kids. It’s the perfect consistency to squish together and then crumble up and it’s great for sensory play.
Only 2 things you need:
3 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Vegetable Oil (You can also use baby oil but it doesn’t take as much so don’t add a full cup).
Only 1 instruction:
Mix it up with a spoon, or even better have your kids mix it. Add an extra splash of oil if it too crumbly and not forming a ball easily or a little flour if it feels too oily. Just play around with it and have fun {I promise no one is judging, it’s gonna be great!}
It’s time to get their hands in it {this is the best part}! If you want to be an extra cool mom grab a couple pots and pants, some bowls and spoons for them to help you “cook.”
Take a deep breath and let it spill out on our floor and watch their creative spirits go to town. This is optional but highly recommended! When you’re done for the day you can scoop it back up into a plastic container and store it in the fridge so it’s ready for tomorrow. It’s a fun feeling when it’s cold, too.
Have you made cloud dough before? We always love hearing from you!
