Did you see the new Peanuts Movie is out? Of course you did! In honor of the super fun movie we are having a Peanuts themed family day complete with a movie marathon with the Classic Peanuts movies and a fun and easy Peanuts lunch! This fun lunch is perfect for a fun family date, a Peanuts themed party, a playdate or simply making an average day awesome!
Easy Peanuts Lunch
Here’s how you make all the fun stuff from the video:
Flying Ace’s Bone
These are absolutely declines and are sure to be a hit! Here’s what you’ll need:
- Tyson® Crispy Strips & Croissant Rolls
Grab the big 3lb bag of Tyson® Crispy Strips at Sam’s Club — Tyson is an official partner with the new Peanuts Movie, which just released November 6th, and we love them for this project since they are fully cooked for easy preparation!
Preheat the oven to 350°. Wrap each chicken strip in a croissant. Bake about 15 minutes till the strips are warm and the croissants are golden brown.
Chevron Cups
These are easy-peasy and super cute! All you need is:
- Clear Plastic Cups
- Permanent Marker
- Orange Juice
Draw thick zig-zags all the way around the middle of each cup. Pour your orange juice. Done!
Peanuts Placemats
These are adorable and a great project for the kids to help with! You’ll need:
- Yellow & Black Constructions Paper
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
Cut a zig-zag through the middle of the yellow paper then glue or tape to the black construction paper leaving an inch gap in the middle. There will be about a half inch overhang on both sides of the yellow sheet, so leave about a half inch to an inch unglued on the long straight edge.
Now you’re ready to enjoy lunch and then head out to the new Peanuts movie! If you haven’t already, watch the trailer here.
