If you’re a regular around here, you know that we have several posts on raising confident kids! It’s such an essential piece of a successful childhood recipe that I wanted to offer yet another fun resource for both parents and teachers. This free printable activity is one of my favorite self-esteem-building projects to do with kids year after year.
All you’ll need is a printed photo of your each child (this should be a current photo of their face) and the above free printable printed. Encourage each child to use the photo of themselves to best draw their face and then write 6 positive words that best describe them, for young children write their words for them.
This is a great one to make once a year, date each time and save away in a special place. You can save them in a special notebook or include them in a journal Smash Book.
I used to do this with the kids I mentored and I loved watching their progress grow year after year. It was fun to see the details they added to their face each time and the words they choose to describe themselves with.
Download your free printable here & then share the love by pinning it on Pinterest.
If you’re looking for more to include in your save notebook, I bumped into a similar idea on Pinterest and found several other great worksheets that work on self esteem which would pair perfectly with this one!
