We have a special box that we keep memories in. I put little treasures from walks, scribbled kids quotes, ticket stubs, and handprint tracings with the date. Something I just started doing was saving their quotes using the Kwote app on my phone. Somehow, seeing it in more of an art form, is all the more adorable!
Here is a close up of some of my favorite quotes lately:
I know as a parent, it’s easy to feel like we need something big and grand to save our memories with, but I realize often that it just sets me up for failure because then I get overwhelmed and just don’t do anything at all! I’m loving this way to save at least some of our memories because it’s totally doable, and then I can just order prints and remember the sweet things they said! I’ll keep the quotes in a note in Evernote or Google Docs and then copy it over to Kwote when I have a few extra minutes. Speaking of- I also featured Kwote in my favorite photo-editing apps here. Check it out! iTunes GooglePlay
How do you save your family’s memories? Do you do scrapbooks or photo books? A memory box or something else?
