You know the saying “I never knew how much I loved your Daddy until I saw how much he loved you.” Those beautiful words ring so true in our house. I love how my daughter can watch my husband and see what a good man looks like, since this will help her create a foundation on what she’ll later look for in a spouse.
I can’t stand the stereotype that all men are lazy because this teaches our sons they can be lazy too, and it teaches our daughters to have low expectations and standards, if that’s all they think is out there how can we expect them to be more?
So I was super stoked when Swiffer sent me 2 Big Green Boxes and asked me to post about #SwifferDad — all about dads helping with the cleaning. The boxes arrived at the perfect time, my husband had just finished blessing me by cleaning the whole house while I was out having coffee with a friend and then, there they were delivered on our doorstep. Now we can retire the old fashioned mop and bucket, save time on any cleaning from here on out and spend more time hanging out as a family!
And my favorite part, Swiffer sent the 2nd box to to pay it forward with! We loaded it in the back of our car and had a blast blessing our friends who just moved in across town!
Curious what’s inside the box?
The Swiffer Wet Jet Starter Kit
- Swiffer Wet Jet — an all-in-one mopping solution that traps and locks dirt and grime instead of pushing it around.
- Wet Jet Refills
- Wet Jet Pad Refills — simply tear off the used Power Pad and throw it in the garbage, making cleaning floors simple and effective.
Swiffer also created some fun videos celebrating Dad as a role model for cleaning:
Does your hubby help with cleaning around the house? Go ahead and brag about him in the comments!
