Flaky 5 Step S’mores Donuts
Prep Time: 10 Min
Cook Time: 10 Min
Total Time: 20 Min
What you will need:
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
-3/4 cup Clover Valley White Sugar
-2 teaspoons baking powder
-1 teaspoon salt
-3/4 cup milk
-2 eggs, beaten
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-2 tablespoons melted butter
Optional toppings:
– Clover Valley Mini Marshmallows
– Nutella
– Clover Valley Chocolate Chips
Step 1: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease a doughnut pan with Clover Valley Non Stick Cooking Spray. While your oven is heating up, place 3/4 of a bag of Clover Valley Mini Marshmallows and 3 tablespoons of butter into a sauce pan, heat on low until mixture is melted stirring frequently.
Step 2: In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Step 3: In another bowl mix milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Beat together until well blended. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients beating until well blended.
Step 4: Fill each doughnut cup approximately 3/4 full. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until doughnuts spring back when touched, and are golden brown in color. A great tip is to put your mixture into a ziplock bag, and cut the tip. This will save a ton of time and mess!
Here is what they look like when you pull them out of the oven and they start to cool:
Step 5: Before the donuts have completely cooled, drizzle on Nutella and the melted marshmallows over the top of the donut. Top it with a few chocolate chips, left over marshmallows, or even peanut butter bites!
