This play idea is brought to you by Knoala – Raise Happier Kids. Knoala is a free app that offers activities for parents to enjoy with infants to preschoolers.
Girly Q is at that age where you don’t know whether to call it crawling or not. It’s more like the army crawl *slash* roll *slash* crawl *slash* fall over *slash* you get the point. I’ve loved every stage and developmental achievement so far but I am REALLY loving this one!
Sometimes it’s nice to have a little help thinking of age appropriate activities for your little ones, enter the Knoala app. It was literally perfect timing that I downloaded the Knoala app to my iPhone. The Knoala app is full of simple activities that require minimal or no supplies/prep that are targeted exactly to the age of your kids. Today we did the Shuffle Everyday activity with our girly to get her moving and ultimately, crawling.

I read the instructions for the activity and within seconds we were outside putting it into action, encouraging girly Q to crawl. The task can be done inside as well but the weather was so beautiful outside we decided to add Outdoor Sensory Learning at the same time. With the feeling of grass under the quilt she made her way to the toy. At first she army crawled but the next time she was up on her knees and crawling and she was so proud of herself.
