I use this recipe as well! I thought my clothes were coming out cleaner then my store bought Echos detergent! I add a lot of essential oils to make it smell good!!

my mom used the diapers along time ago. when we were done with them she used them for dusting she said they were great for that. and told aunts about that. and she rinsed them two times too.

The recipe I use calls for one cup of each but it’s more liquid but it worked great but it does work on a team machines

I have been using a homemade powder detergent in my HE frontload washer and I’ve never had any problems. HE washers are just made to use less water, so as long as all your soap is getting rinsed out… you should be good to go! The only difference for me is that I have to put my soap in the main compartment instead of the soap compartment, which is no big deal.

Personally I have never mixed the two, but I think that should be just fine. Has anyone ever tried mixing those two?

Yes! I have had friends use it with their front load washer and not have any troubles. I think they always add it to the washing detergent dispenser, but I would imagine you could just put it directly in the washing machine basin as well.
