Today’s post is on everything baby. Playing with baby, baby art, squeezing baby, and above all else cherishing the moment with them.
This post is inspired by a little girl, Savannah, who at only 12 days old is already making her mark on the world.

Savannah Hope
Today, I read a post by another mama, one who now, along with her daughter, will always hold a part of my heart. Today I cried for a woman I have never met, today my life was put in perspective by the story of a mom who is stronger than I could ever hope to be. I read her post on how a routine ultrasound turned life threatening, how the joy of finding out the baby’s gender was robbed and replaced with a fear of whether her child would even survive, she found out her baby had CPD (congenital diaphragmatic hernia, a birth defect with a 50/50 survival rate).
I then read the most beautiful letter a mother could ever write her child. I would encourage you to read this post if you, like me, have been taking any part of your life for granted.
12 days ago the sweet little girl was born, baby Savannah is now fighting for her, she is also, already, impacting the world. Squeeze your babies a little tighter today and lift a prayer for little Savannah and her hero mother Heather.
We are blessed that The Realistic Mama could play a small part in Savanah’s beautiful story and help with her fundraising.
