First, Let’s Chat about How to Start a DIY Blog
Do you love arts and crafts? Is DIY totally your thing? Why not blog about it and make extra money!
Learn more about starting a DIY blog of your own! You don’t have to be tech savvy to start, just passionate about DIY (or the same tutorial can be used if you’re more passionate about a different topic).
Make anywhere from $500 – $100,000 a month blogging from home. Countless bloggers, including me, make full-time income on their blogs. And many of us only work part-time hours.

And now let’s chat about some DIY scrapbooking ideas (the kind of thing you could be blogging about)…
10 Amazing Scrapbooking Ideas
1. Use a map for a background!
A map is something really different & fun that can be used instead of scrapbook paper! Choose a map that is specific to where you visited…
You can even cut your pictures in the shape of the states you visit…
Check out more on how here. And here is a great map you can use as your background.
2. Makes flippable tabs — the kids will love this!
There is something awesome about printed pictures & memories all put together in one place. I especially love flipping through the pages with kids — they go crazy about seeing their pictures in a book!
Supplies Needed:
3. Save all your summer movie tickets!
I don’t know about you, but I LOVE going to the movies! And I love thinking back to the memories that I made going to see each one. Embellish your “summer movies page” with these super cute stickers.
4. Take screen shots of special texts and save them in a little text pocket!
This would be fun to do the day your baby is born to save all those Facebook comments and texts for their baby book. {She also has a great idea on screen-shotting and printing weather forecasts for important days! It’s the small little details that are fun to remember.}
5. Save the sand!
Headed to the beach? Save a little bit of sand and create a pocket like this one! This pocket will help ensure that no sand slips out and all over your floor 🙂
6. Make decorative paper clips to add a little pizzazz to your book!
These can be made with leftover scraps & any embellishments that you choose (buttons, stickers, glitter, etc.) Since you’re going to be stapling in such a small space, I’ve found this mini stapler with mini staples to be very helpful.
7. Make a border of quick & easy zig-zags!
This is so simple yet adds so much to a scrapbook page! Only supplies needed are paper and some form of adhesive.
8. Use washi tape to decorate your scrapbook.
Washi-tape is awesome for so many things but why not make a little banner to stream across the corner of your page?! This definitely ups the scrapbook’s cool factor.
Supplies:
9. Make an envelope with an old magazine.
Use it to store small memories or pictures. It’s also a great idea to make an envelope for the very back of your book – that way, when you find things after you’re finished with your awesome scrapbook, you can still store it with the rest!
If you love the idea of using an envelope in your scrapbook but don’t want to make it yourself, I love these adorable miniature envelopes if you are going for a more vintage look, or these if you want a little more colorful flare!
10. Here’s a unique take on a scrapbook design, a Vacation Smash Book.
